Club Outreach is a new organization that began official activities in January 2010. Our mission statement is to form a link between U.T. and A.I.S.D students.
Club Outreach will provide an opportunity for U.T. students to volunteer at local schools providing assistance to at-risk students through fun, hands-on activities. U.T. students will act as mentors and role models to A.I.S.D students.
We plan to accomplish our mission by assisting the UTeach Outreach program planning, organizing, and providing adequate volunteers for the programs planned events. Our plan is to serve as a liaison between the College of Natural Science student organizations and A.I.S.D.
Members of our club will lead these volunteers in planning a specific part of local academic events.
